Summary of Changes from Previous Version

31 Janurary 2024 – All references to Program Manager replaced with Education Manager, Macquarie University College, approved by Academic Senate (under the executive action of the Chair of Academic Senate) on 30 January 2024.

16 Jun 2022 - Administrative amendments to Policy: clause 6 updated to reference separate Macquarie University College Academic Progression Policy – English Language Courses; email address updated under clauses 20 and 33; and clause 29 updated to reflect Course Length (In Units). Procedural components, specifically the Macquarie University College Academic Progression Procedure Flowchart, brought into the Policy, with the Macquarie University College Academic Progression Procedure expired.

12 Apr 2022 - Administrative amendment: Policy title updated from ‘MUIC Academic Progression Policy’ to ‘Macquarie University College Academic Progression Policy’.

6 Apr 2021 - Academic Senate (Resolution AS21/18) approval of the following amendments to the MUIC Academic Progression Policy: i. amend clause 29 to include a maximum time to complete for Undergraduate Certificates of 12 consecutive months; and ii. amend the existing schedule at clause 29 to consistently express the maximum time to complete as being consecutive months.
